For such a small restaurant the food here packs a punch the flavors give that satisfaction that a personal chef provides. Granted the wait might be awhile but completely worth it. I hope I get the good oxtails the next time I visit or when we throw the glocksandgears day maybe we’ll get some catering.

The comments before don’t do this place justice. It seems that they have made a complete 180 degree turn from what the once were. I went in today and the service was amazing. Not only that but the food is amazing too. I most definitely recommend you come here to eat!!!!

OG’s Jamaican Restaurant is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, authentic, and cooked to perfection. I had the oxtail with rice and peas, and it was fall-off-the-bone tender with just the right amount of seasoning. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the vibe inside made me feel like I was right back in the islands. Definitely my new go-to spot for Jamaican food. Highly recommend!

Very tasty original Jamaican food. Make you feel like you in Jamaican when eating it and not commercial Americanized Jamaican food

I’ve been eating from OG since the 90s; they provided catering for my college graduation party cause b/c I enjoy their food soooo much. my fav is their oxtails w/rice & peas. but everything I’ve ever eaten from there was delicious.what stands out most for me these days is the customer service. at first it was aloof almost dismissive. now, they’ve got it right. greetings as you enter, smiles, etc.this make the entire experience so much more enjoyable. inspires me to leave a tip despite doing takeout.I met the owner’s son on my most recent visit; he is carrying the legacy of his mother. He’s so pleasant and engaging.I highly recommend getting eats from OG. I come all the way from Harlem for their food

We ordered ackee and saltfish with provisions and hominy corn porridge. The foods were marvelously prepared. It was as if everything was picked fresh and expertly cooked to perfection. God's blessings on OG's that they maintain excellent service, so our communities health benifits.....

This place does NOT MISS!!!! I have to order from them AT LEAST once a week. Food is ALWAYS excellent. My last order was of their shrimp rasta pasta, and it was so good I almost cried! And no I don't work there. Food is REALLY amazing. They're available on door dash and Uber eats.
